Intellek Create is a browser-based application that requires our Intellek Live Launch MSI for content capture and preview. Our standard Intellek Live Launch MSI includes MicrosoftEdgeWebview2 as it is a requirement for all machines authoring or running Live Content.

In addition to Intellek.Live.Messaging.exe running alongside Intellek.Create.ContentCapture.exe, a new executable program will run in the background named Intellek.Live.MessagingAlt.exe. This might need whitelisting if Intellek.Live.Messaging.exe is already whitelisted.

By default, Live Content Results will be hosted via Intellek Create on Intellek Azure Servers. Results will be maintained via the Intellek Create website.

All users launching Live Content must have the Intellek Live Launch MSI installed. We recommend deploying the MSI across the entire organization. Our standard Intellek Live Launch MSI package includes MicrosoftEdgeWebview2 as it is required on all machines running Live Content.

Live Content will run via any Windows-based browser.

XenDesktop

No plugin is required for Live Content to run in a XenDesktop session.

XenApp - Accessed from server (typical)

To use Live Content support for applications delivered to the user via the XenApp Accessed From Server model, the Intellek Virtualization Server Plug-in for the Citrix ICA Client must be installed on the XenApp Server and the Intellek Virtualization Client Plug-in for the Citrix ICA Client must be installed on each end-user’s machine.        

The Intellek Virtualization Server Plug-in is a once-only installation that must be performed on the XenApp/XenDesktop server. The installation will ensure the necessary files to facilitate full-duplex communication with the Live Content Runtime are available in each XenApp session. The server Intellek Virtualization Server Plug-in will be automatically initialized within each XenApp session created on the XenApp Server. Administrative rights are required during installation. The Intellek Virtualization Client Plug-in is a once-only installation that must be pushed to each user that will use Live Content. The installation will ensure the necessary files to establish communication with the server component is available when required by the Live Content Runtime. Administrative rights are required during installation.
