A Capacity field has been added to the Venue Detail page, allowing administrators to define a capacity at the Location > Venue level. When creating a new Event in the Calendar, selecting a Location and Venue will automatically populate the Event capacity based on that Venue's defined limit. If no capacity is set for the Venue, the Event capacity will default to the capacity of the associated scheduled course.    

Set Venue Capacity

1.Go to the Calendar > 3-dot Menu > Locations.

2.Select the desired Location from the list and click Edit record .

3.Open the Venues tab on the right side to view existing Venues.

4.Click to create a new Venue, or select an existingVenue and click Edit record.

5.Enter a numeric value in the Capacity field.

6.Click Save.

When scheduling an Event, the Venue's defined capacity will automatically populate the Event Capacity field. For example, if a Scheduled Course has a Capacity of 15, but the selected Venue is limited to 10, the Event Capacity is set to 10. This ensures Events cannot exceed the Venue's allowable Capacity.

The LMS will also prevent administrators from setting an Event capacity higher than the Venue's limit. If an administrator attempts to increase the Event Size beyond the Venue's defined capacity, a warning will appear indicating that the limit cannot be exceeded, and the system will block the changes from being saved.

The recurrence calculator for Course and Path reassignment is now based on the original assignment start date and time. Previously, reassignment notifications were triggered within 30 minutes of midnight on the scheduled recurrence (week, month, or year). With this update, reassignment will instead occur within 30 minutes of the original assignment time. Users will receive reassignment notifications based on the actual time of day it was originally assigned.  

For example, for a new assignment, the initial assignment occurred on 2025-10-09 at 08:20, with an annual recurrence, the next yearly reassignment will take place between 2026-10-09 08:21 and 2026-10-09 08:51.

Note: Any existing Course or Path where recurrence has already happened for a User will continue to occur within the 30 minutes of midnight.
