The Ownership feature allows you to define multiple Owners in the Learning Management System, to which you can assign Courses and/or Paths in your Library. Once the Ownership feature is set up, most automated email communications sent to end-users about those Courses, Paths, or Events, will automatically come “From” the relevant Owner (Sender). Each Owner can have a different email Signature and each report can be filtered by Owner.

A huge benefit to those of you who have increased privileges to run reports, is that you will be able to report on Courses and Paths “owned” by the relevant department. It also ensures that you are communicating with users in the best possible way, ensuring all correspondence is coming from the relevant department. |
