The Navigation bar is the dark blue bar at the top of the web page, and is visible from all pages within Intellek Create. The Content Editor will include additional icons (see the Content Editor Navigation bar topic).
The Navigation bar displays at the top of the window. The current page displays to the right of the Menu icon. Using the graphic as reference, the Content Library is the current page, and the numbered items below correspond to the graphic.
1.Menu icon (aka "hamburger icon"). Click the Menu icon to access all areas of Intellek Create. (See The Intellek Create Menu subtopic.) 2.Multi-Publish Content icon. The Publish Content icon provides the ability to publish one or more content files simultaneously. The Multi-Publish Content icon is only accessible on the Content Library page. (See the Publishing topic.) 3.User Settings (person) icon. Click the User Settings icon to set or change your User Profile or Logout of Intellek Create. (See the User Settings subtopic.) 4.Help icon. Click the Help icon to display Intellek Create Help content. |
The Menu icon on the Navigation bar provides access to all Intellek Create pages. The Menu icon is always accessible as the first icon on the Navigation bar. 1.Click the Menu icon to display the Menu panel.
2.Click the pin at the top of the Menu panel to retain access to the panel as you switch pages or work on a content file. •If the pin is not active, changing to another Intellek Create page will automatically collapse the Menu panel. •As long as the Menu panel is pinned, the panel will stay visible until either: oThe pin icon is clicked (turned off). oThe Menu icon is clicked. oRefreshing the Intellek Create browser tab (pressing F5 or clicking the browser Refresh icon). oThe Intellek Create tab is closed or logged out. |
The User Settings (person) icon provides access to User Settings and the Logout option. This option may be temporarily disabled. 1.Click the User Settings icon on the Navigation bar. 2.Select User Settings (cog). 3.In the Edit User dialog box: •If necessary, enter or change the Forename entry to your preferred first name. •If necessary, enter or change the Surname entry to your preferred last name. •Click the Language arrow to select your preferred language. Currently, the choices are en (English) or fr (French). 4.Click the SAVE button.
