The Content Library is the main page of Intellek Create. Content files are created and managed from this page. The screen elements are pictured and described below.
1.Create New Content button. Click the Create New Content button to start a new content file. (See the Creating Content topic.) 2.Defaults button. Click the Defaults button to set the defaults for new content files. (See the Setting Content Defaults topic.) 3.Recently Modified panel. This area contains access to the five (5) most recently created or edited content files by you. (See the Content Cards subtopic.) 4.Favorites panel. Contains content files tagged as a Favorite of yours. (See the Content Cards subtopic.) 5.Personal Content Files panel. Contains all content files created, edited, and saved by you. (See the Content Cards subtopic.) 6.Company Content Files panel. Contains all content files created, edited, and saved by any Intellek Create author within your organization. 7.Expand/Collapse panel. The arrow at the far right of a panel will expand or collapse the panel contents. By default, all panels are collapsed. |
Content files are displayed in the Content Library panels as "cards." Displaying content files in this manner allows you to perform several different functions without having to open the content file. The functions available on content cards are pictured and described below. 1.Content Title. (See the Creating Content topic.) 2.Mark as Favorite (heart) icon. Click the Mark as Favorite icon to add the content file to the Favorites panel in the Content Library. (See the Content Library Buttons and Panels sub-topic.) 3.Clone Content (duplicate page) icon. Click the Clone Content icon to create a copy of the content file that can be re-purposed. (See the Creating Content topic.) 4.Edit Content (pencil) icon. Click the Edit Content icon to open the content file into the Content Editor. (See the Creating Content topic.) 5.Preview Content (VCR play button) icon. Click the Preview Content icon to preview how the content will display to users. (See the Previewing Content topic.) 6.Delete Content (trash can) icon. Click the Delete Content icon to delete the content file. (See the Deleting Content Files topic.) |
