If you have a single online Course you want to add to the Library (AICC, SCORM, General or Resource), you can follow the instructions to Add a Course or Path. However, if you are looking to add a lot of Courses and you would like to import these in one go, please review the Import Courses option as detailed in the Bulk Import of Online Courses topic.

Before courses can be added to the library, you must first define the type of content or purpose of the course.

Each course type has settings specific to that content type and will only accept the pertinent zipped file types packaged accordingly. Our standard course types are:

AICC - zipped AICC packages only (maximum zipped file size -  1.1GB)

General - zipped *.htm, *.doc, *.docx, *.xlsx, *.pdf, *.flv, *.wmv, *.mp4, *.swf, *.pptx, and *.ppsx. (maximum zipped file size -  1.1GB)

Resource - zipped *.htm, *.doc, *.docx, *.xlsx, *.pdf, *.flv, *.wmv, *.mp4, *.swf, *.pptx, and *.ppsx. (maximum zipped file size -  1.1GB)

Scheduled - no content included.  This is a foundation course in the Library with basic default fields used for building Events in the calendar

SCORM - zipped SCORM 1.2 packages only (maximum zipped file size -  1.1GB)
