Automated Path Notifications 
Users can receive an automated notification based on your defined email template when they are assigned to a Learning Path or when an assigned Learning Path is expiring. You must activate the appropriate Notification(s) in Communication > Automated Notifications. The In Use setting is easily turned on and off.
Path-Specific Notifications
When you have set up customized notification requirements specific to a particular path, those notification(s) will override any automated notifications set for paths. Provide timing and template details specific to a path in the Path > Notifications > Notification Detail tab. See Course/Path/Event-Specific Notifications related to certificates.
